Every once in a while, I feel called to clear my calendar, shut the computer off and have a creative Heidi day.
Everything I do on Heidi days is guided by my intuition.
I may paint, or I may plan my next home decor project, but one thing is for sure, I’m not forcing myself to do anything.
My brain used to fight me on this.
“You can’t take time off, you’ve got too much to do!”
But too much doing, and not enough living, puts a damper on my expansion.
When I take the time for a Heidi day, usually I find myself enjoying life more.
I may do some gardening in my front yard, or painting in my studio. Sometimes I go shopping (yay for my inner fashionista).
Or... I may spend some time in meditation, envisioning what I want at this time in my life.
I do whatever makes me feel really, really happy.
This creative white space has given me so much. It’s like a succulent peach; it’s so delicious.
It allows me to see how far I’ve come and feeds me inspiration for future endeavors.
When I clear my brain of “to-do’s” I am able to FEEL life and see who I’m truly becoming.
And from this, I always get inspiration. The downloads always come.
